Journal of Peanut Science, formerly named as Peanut Science and Technology, was founded in 1972, which is superintended by Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS) and sponsored by Shandong Peanut Research Institute (SPRI). Journal of Peanut Science is a Chinese core journal criterion of PKU and multi-disciplinary journal of peanut research and published quarterly in Chinese with English title, abstract, figures and tables, or full text in English.
Journal of Peanut Science mainly publishes manuscripts in the categories of peanut research articles, reports, detection techniques and methods, thematic reviews with independent work basis and innovative perspectives and research briefs on important findings, focusing on the subjects of peanut: genetics and breeding, molecular genetics, tillage and cultivation, physiology and biochemistry, soil and fertilization, micro-organism, agro-ecology and environment, plant protection, storage, fresh-keeping, processing, analytical test research, comprehensive utilization of peanuts, mechanical engineering, and other research related to peanut.
